dicer inspect

Show everything about one or more instances

Synopsis

Shows an instance’s whole definition and state. With –format json or yaml, prints the daemon’s full record of it, raw sizes and all, for scripts: an array of one object per instance.

dicer inspect NAME... [flags]

Examples 

  dicer inspect web
  dicer inspect web --format json | jq -r '.[0].ip'
  dicer inspect web --format '{{.IP}}'

Options 

  -c, --columns strings   Show a table of just these columns instead, comma-separated and in any case
      --format string     Output format: table, json, yaml, or a Go template, e.g. '{{.Name}}\t{{.State}}' (default "table")
  -h, --help              help for inspect

Options inherited from parent commands 

  -D, --debug              Trace every call to the daemon on stderr (or set $DICER_DEBUG)
  -r, --remote string      Daemon to talk to: a remote's name, or an address (unix:///PATH or HOST:PORT) (default $DICER_REMOTE, then the current remote, then local)
      --timeout duration   Give up on a call to the daemon after this long, e.g. 30s (0: never; streams such as logs -f and exec are not bounded)
